Raster preservation

JPEG bytes are embedded in SVG or PDF without pretending the photo became vector.

Color tracing

Sampled pixels are quantized to 2, 4, or 8 colors and emitted as SVG paths.

Understanding the result

PDF/SVG preserves image placement, not missing JPEG detail.

Vectorize mode trades detail for editable shapes.

Important limitations

No verified native CDR writer is configured. The download is a genuine CorelDRAW-ready interchange file, not a renamed or simulated .cdr file.
JPEG has no transparency and lossy artifacts can become more visible after tracing.
