About HRV Baseline Deviation Calculator: Heart Rate Variability Change
Calculate how much your current resting Heart Rate Variability (HRV) reading differs from your established personal baseline in absolute milliseconds and percentage deviation.
Because absolute HRV numbers vary widely between individuals (a normal reading for one person could be high or low for another), comparing a reading against your own rolling baseline is the standard quantitative practice.
How the calculation works
Absolute difference
Difference = current HRV (ms) − baseline HRV (ms).
Percentage deviation & ratio
Percentage deviation = ((current HRV − baseline HRV) ÷ baseline HRV) × 100; ratio = current HRV ÷ baseline HRV.
