Caffeine elimination follows first-order exponential decay with an average adult half-life of approximately 5 hours (typically ranging between 3 and 7 hours in healthy adults).

Remaining dose = initial dose ร— 0.5^(hours elapsed รท half-life hours).

Eliminated caffeine & percentage

Eliminated = initial dose โˆ’ remaining dose; percentage remaining = (remaining dose รท initial dose) ร— 100.
