About Pick a HEX Color from an Image

The color picker renders a scaled canvas and samples the exact displayed pixel selected with the pointer.

The image is decoded and processed locally in your browser; it is not uploaded to Navorika.

How to use this tool

  1. 1Select an image and wait for it to render.
  2. 2Click the desired pixel on the canvas.
  3. 3Review the swatch and copy its six-digit HEX value.

Understanding the result

The returned HEX value represents red, green, and blue channels of one rendered pixel.

Scaling, color management, transparency compositing, and display calibration can affect how a color appears.

Important limitations

  • Very large images can exceed browser memory or maximum canvas dimensions.
  • Browser decoding support varies by image format and device.
  • Canvas export normally removes original EXIF, camera, location, color-profile, and other file metadata.
  • The tool samples one pixel at a time; it does not automatically generate a palette or identify dominant colors.
